The David B. Eavenson (formerly “Central Penn”) Chapter of PIAA Track & Field Officials provides officials for high school and college track meets throughout Central and Eastern Pennsylvania. Our officials regularly work at the dual, league, district and state levels for high school meets as well as several colleges conference championships and various invitational meets.
We have approximately 40 officials who are highly experienced at working all levels of interscholastic track and field meets, including many members who have worked at the district and state levels for many years. Additionally, our members include several officials with USATF certification who work at meets on all collegiate levels. Our chapter has decades of experience officiating the MAC, Landmark and Centennial Conference championships at various locations – as well as other invitational meets at Messiah, Moravian, Juniata, Mulhlenberg, Dickinson, Gettysburg and other regional colleges.
If you have a background or interest in track and field and would like to become a PIAA official, please go to the PIAA website (click here) to take the first step toward becoming a registered official.
